Forte Piano School of Music has been providing quality music education to the community for over 16 years. Founded by Avik Chakravarty, a.k.a. Era Surfer, our school has grown to become a leading institution for music education in the area.

Avik Chakravarty, is a professional musician and musical artist, with over 35 years of experience with music and keyboard instruments. He studied Electronics and Communications engineering from MSRIT before shifting interests to music full time. Avik was brought up in the IISc campus, surrounded by scientists, many of whom were musicians too, and was a part of the IISc music group Rhythmica, where he started performing on stage at a semi professional level, apart from being involved with music in school and participating nationally in social science exhibitions in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Avik also started the band Rainburn, where he played extensively in music competitions and shows in and around Bengaluru
